JKS Wales are pleased to welcome Llanarmon Shotokan Karate Club to the JKS family.

 

Llanarmon SKC is based in Llanarmon-yn-lal, Mold and was founded in 2013 by Graham Read 3rd Dan.

 

Graham’s karate journey is embedded in traditional Japanese Shotokan karate; beginning in the 1970’s as a member of the Karate Union of Great Britain (KUGB) and since 2003, following a hiatus in his training, as a member of the Cheshire and North Wales Shotokan Karate Academy (CNWSKA).

 

Llanarmon SKC members currently comprise of nine 1st and 2nd black belt grades and a range of kyu grade students. Training takes place at the Old School Room, Llanarmon-yn-lal on Monday and Friday evenings.
