Derek Stockham Sensei passes Godan (5th Dan)

We would like to extend a huge congratulations to JKS Wales Chairman Derek Stockham Sensei on passing his Godan examination.

After a weekend of fantastic training at the Spring International Seminar, gradings were held on the final day. After a nervous wait Derek Sensei was observed by Yamaguchi Sensei and Kanayama Sensei and today (May 21st) the results have come through from Tokyo.

After 44 years of dedication not only to karate but to hundreds of students this is a great and richly deserved achievement.
